Features
A golf app built around where you've played
Golfy isn't a rangefinder or a scorecard. It's the collection you'll wish you'd started years ago — every course, scored by rarity, shared with friends.
Course collection & history
Search any of 12,000+ US golf courses and check in with the date, your score and a photo. Golfy keeps a permanent record of every course, every round and how many times you've played each one — including rounds from before you had the app.
- Backfill your entire golf history
- Play counts and round history per course
- Photos and captions on every check-in
- Courses and states collected at a glance

Rarity & XP
Every course has a rarity score from 0 to 100 — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary. A first check-in pays 2.5 XP per point plus a tier bonus, so bucket-list courses are worth up to 8× a local muni. XP drives your level.
- 12,000+ courses scored for rarity
- Tier bonuses up to +500 XP
- Levels that reflect where you've played, not just how much
- Rarest-courses feed for planning trips

Badges & achievements
Badges reward milestones, geography and rarity: your first course, 5, 10 and 25 courses, courses in multiple states, regional travel, rare check-ins and secret challenges. Each badge adds bonus XP and a confetti moment.
- Milestone, state and region badges
- Surprise badges you discover by earning them
- Bonus XP on every unlock
- Earned vs. locked views to chase next

Curated lists & bucket lists
Work through curated collections — state collections, coastal gems, championship venues — and see your progress fill in as you play. It's the easiest way to turn 'someday' courses into a plan.
- Featured lists by state and theme
- Progress tracking per list
- Rarity and XP shown for every course
- Great for road trips and buddy trips

Friends feed & leaderboard
Add friends and see where they teed off, what they shot and which badges they unlocked. The leaderboard ranks your group by level so the race to the top never really ends.
- Activity feed of rounds and badges
- Friends leaderboard by level and XP
- Compare courses and states collected
- Notifications when friends check in

King of the Course
Every course has a crown. Post the lowest score among your friends and it's yours until someone beats it. A map shows every course your group has played and who rules each one — the ultimate reason to play a course twice.
- Per-course, friends-only leaderboards
- Map of crowns across every course played
- Repeat rounds count toward the crown
- Scores validated so nobody 'shoots' a 40
