Golf course tracker

Track every golf course you've ever played

Golfy is a golf course tracker app for iPhone. Check in at each course, keep your scores, photos and play counts, and watch your collection grow across 12,000+ US courses.

Why a golf course tracker beats a spreadsheet

Most golfers can name their last five courses. Almost none can name their fiftieth. A course tracker fixes that — but a list on its own is just a list. Golfy turns it into a collection with three things a spreadsheet can't do:

  • Rarity scoring. Every course is scored 0–100 and grouped from Common to Legendary, so a check-in at Bethpage Black means something different from your Tuesday muni.
  • Progress that compounds. XP, levels and badges reward new courses, new states and rare rounds. Your collection has a score you can compare with friends.
  • Context. Play counts, round history, scores, photos and the date of every visit — searchable forever, on your phone.

How to track a course in Golfy

  1. Step 1

    Search

Find the course by name or browse nearby. 12,000+ US courses are already in the database.

  2. Step 2

    Check in

Add the date you played, your score and an optional photo or caption.

  3. Step 3

    Collect

The course joins your collection with its rarity tier and the XP you earned.

  4. Step 4

    Share

Friends see it in their feed — and the King of the Course crown is up for grabs.

Start with the courses you've already played

The fastest way to a satisfying collection is backfilling. Look up your home course, the one from that bachelor trip, the resort track you played once in 2019 — every one earns XP. Browse by state to jog your memory:

Golf course tracker FAQ

What's the best way to track golf courses I've played?

A dedicated golf course tracker app. Spreadsheets work until you want photos, dates, scores, play counts and a way to compare with friends. Golfy does all of that and adds a rarity score for every course, so your list becomes a collection with a value.

Can I track courses I played years ago?

Yes. Search the course, set the date you played (or your best guess) and check in. Backfilled rounds earn the same XP and badges as new ones.

Does Golfy track my score and stats?

Golfy records a score for each round so friends can compete for King of the Course, and shows play counts and round history per course. It is not a shot-by-shot GPS or handicap app — it's built for tracking where you've played.

How many courses can I track?

As many as you play. The database covers 12,000+ courses across all 50 states and DC, and missing courses can be added on request.

Your golf history deserves better than a note on your phone
